Reviews

I was just going to check this out but my Daisy was so excited I let her play! There are separate areas for big and small dogs. Lots of stuff for them to play on. Spectacular!

The community takes pride in this park. Park is always kept clean. It provides tons of grass for the dogs to run through. It also has plenty of seating for the owners. They added a water fountain that is also dog friendly, but it is outside of the fenced area.
Pros:
Grass
Doggy bags
Fountain
Seating
Cons:
No shade
No sidewalk inside the fenced area.
Parking is on basketball court.

It’s a calm place to take your dogs. It’s really not ever too packed (which means a lot to help your dog feel relaxed and at ease. There are some activities for you and your dog to do. I’ve seen dog parks have a lot more things to do and supply toys. This one does not. That doesn’t mean that one day you won’t see that here. I’d definitely recommend here for a nice parent dog day. One thing to mention, I wouldn’t be here after dark. It’s in an area that can have suspicious activity at night. Don’t let that drive you away though, it’s not common but I go there frequently so I’ve seen a lot.

Odd piece of triangular land wedged between a street, river, and two rail lines. A LOT of trains with excruciatingly loud horns – very unpleasant. This is a free dog park which unfortunately means it’s a mess. It has super nice fencing & a couple of ornate street lamps, so it does seem like the city put some real effort into designing the park. The problem, however, is the public. Most of the gate latches are broken. The gates CAN be secured with a little effort, but most of the time they’re just hanging open. When it rains, there’s a lot of standing puddles, especially arount the gates/entryways creating a muddy, swampy ickiness. The absolute WORST part of the dog park is the fact that very few dog owners pick up their pet’s poo. They just don’t care. It’s gross out there, frankly. Lastly, b/c it’s a free park sometimes sketchy, unpredictable dogs show up and you have no idea whether they’re up on their shots or not. I can’t really recommend this dog park, but it’s the only option in PB to let your dog socialize with other dogs while off-leash.

This is all right there’s a few things for the dogs to do my dog really enjoys going there. we will be returning. One thing to look out for, when you arrive, be dire to check the outside gates and the one in between the yards. Someone has a habit of opening them and leaving them open … Not a nice thing to do, that’s for sure…
