It was a beautiful walk. Quiet for the most part. Everyone we met on our walk were nice. The view is spectacular! The mountains are in full view for most of the walk. The abandoned pier blocks are a nice touch.

What a beautiful trail. It would be possible to walk from the City Beach Park, but there is a small parking lot at the trailhead. Be bold and take the seemingly private road through the apartment parking lots. Pretty busy at 9 am, but absolutely beautiful with the lake views and fall colors.

Fantastic, flat out and back trail. About 2 miles one way. Excellent views out over the lake of the dramatic Cabinet Mountains beyond. A local favorite. Hope you love dogs, because everybody brings theirs!
