Nice trail for walking, running or biking. Flat and isolated from any traffic. several bridges and trestles to cross including the big one over the Broad River. This is a 6.5 mile section of a much longer trail across the state. So lucky to have this so close!

Well maintained trail with a great river crossing. Unfortunately, it is isolated from the main part of the state trail. So it is essentially a local walking, hiking, and bike path for now.

My wife and I hiked the almost 11 miles Saturday and enjoyed the mostly flat trail.
We saw a water snake along the trail and numerous birds.
Since it was a beautiful Saturday morning, we saw many friendly people on the trail. Most were walking, riding, and a few were jogging. There were kids, Boy Scouts, older couples and everyone greeted us with a smile.

We plan to take on other parts of the trail soon.
