Can you ride in the path
Beautiful land! Wish they gave access to more of the land and gave atv access. Horseback riders tear up the trails and they are never groomed. Trails were nice years ago when atvs and snowmobiles had access and helped maintain.
A few different trails to hike or mountain bike.If you’re just starting out or you have a knee replacement like my dear old Grandpa, there are some flatter routes you can take without worrying about finding yourself on a mountain side.More experienced hikers will find the trails in their entirety just above easy with a few challenging hills. Great for fat burning.The trails are pretty much just the same as those found over the hill at the “Kennerdell Tract” and in some cases, may be the very same trails.You know how it works- Hiking down a hill means hiking up a hill.Nice, remote spot. Peaceful, Pennsylvania woodlands.Well kept trails (some faded markers)No real sights or features here.There are more scenic and memorable hikes that you can find nearby if you don’t have much time to spend in the woods and want a more spectacular experience.There are some unique habitats developing back in here though. Some wetlands and such that birdwatchers may find interesting.So, if you’re just looking for some peace and some exercise, this is a nice spot.Plenty of ParkingNo Facilities
There are a ton of trails to explore here, from mainly flat double track, to meandering single track, and some rough uphills and rocky scrambles. Hiking, biking and horse riding are allowed depending on which side of the forest you’re hiking in, so plan accordingly, and always use a map, though most trails are pretty well marked these days.
