Nice bike trail that borders the Mon River – this is the southern half located in Pt Marion Fayette Co- still after 30 years there has been little progress in connecting this portion to that completed in Uniontown and then on to the Great Allegheny Passage – one can bike to Morgantown Fairmont and Arthurdale WV heading south

The Sheepskin Trail Trailhead in Point Marion, PA is nice. You can park here and ride down to Morgantown, West Virginia and beyond on the Mon River Rail Trail System. The Sheepskin Trail is park of the planned Parkersburg to Pittsburgh (P2P) Trail. The Sheepskin Trail will be 30+ miles when complete. Current open sections of the Sheepskin Trail are in Point Marion, Uniontown, and Dunbar.
Very nice, level trail with a lot of older growth trees and very diverse forest, great views of the Monongahela river and surrounding hillsides. Joins up with the WV rail trail system which is equally as enjoyable. Especially nice in Autumn.
