Beautiful, small local park that doesn’t get too crowded because even in the pandemic, it’s something of a hidden gem. We found it years ago when we turned into the park we kept driving past, and it’s been a great spot for walking around and enjoying the outdoors. Most of the walking path is paved, but there are also some trails that go into woods, through fields, and other natural settings. There’s also a playground and some pavilions.

Alert! I usually have take my dog to this park and yesterday (November 20th) she ingested a pill there and we later found out it was a drug called PCP. She was on leash and I was watching her, but she swallowed the pill and I couldn’t take it out of her mouth. She is doing ok now after being hospitalized, but I would recommend avoiding the park if you take your dogs there

I think this is a 276 highway perfect break spot for you driving all the time type of employees. Whenever one gets on 276….you know how there is so much traffic. Insert sweet gem here to stretch out your legs. In the words of Kanye West….”If you have the opportunity to play this game of life you need to appreciate every moment. A lot of people don’t appreciate the moment until it’s passed.” That is this spot. Yes, its not a fancy park by any means nor is is gleaming with trails. Nada. However, its RIGHT off the highway that once you hit traffic, you can grab your sneaks and take a short walk and circle back out into open highway once the traffic subsides. Perfect for the AM or PM. Very small. Has potential. There is a small spot for you science nerds out there where you like learning about the fun facts of butterflies while also seeing different types of butterflies.

Beautiful park and playground!

Restrooms are never open.

Been coming here for years now and never used the restrooms because no one is allowed, they are always locked.

You and your children can enjoy relieving yourselves in the majestic vegetation and foliage as a family with the local fauna.

It’s unlike any other park in the area!
