Closed fence dog park that divides big and small dogs. Some patches of grass, but mostly patches of dirt and soft gravel. Moderate amounts of trees for shade along with benches/seating and supplied water fountain.
outside of the dog park, there are a bunch of trails with more squirrels per sq/mile than I have ever seen. For some reason there are signs everywhere saying your dog must be on leash – piss on that. Let your dog do some off leash squirrel chasing!
If you don’t go on the hiking trails, there is a large fenced area for larger dogs and another for smaller dogs. The grounds are very green and look maintained. It gets pretty busy around noon. There is additional parking on the side road. Everyone is very friendly!
Very large dog park surrounded by amazing hiking trails! The dog park is well maintained but a little dusty near the gates. It is quite large though which gives the dogs plenty of room to run and play. The dogs and people are very friendly and respectful of everyone’s boundaries, which helped make the experience very enjoyable.
After playing the park we were able to go hiking around the trails that border the back of the park. Make sure to check out the views!
We have a large golden doodle that we take to dog parks where they can run off leash. This dog park on Paso Nogal is fantastic! Very large area for big dogs, some shade trees but not too many. Pretty level in most spots with well kept grass. Our dog Stella can’t wait to get out and run at top speed. She loves getting the others to run with her…
Most owners are really nice and do a good job managing their dog.
There are several dog watering fountains around the park, and a great paw washing area near the entry gate with hoses.
I’d give it 5 stars except for some reason they decide to turn the sprinklers on early Saturday mornings, which can leave some areas muddy. Our dog is all white, so….bring a spare towel to clean off their paws is my recommendation.
Great park for your doggo!
