We love this park. Lots of grass and shaded areas too, with seating in various areas. Three water areas for thirsty dogs and one by the gate has a hose to rinse mud off paws if needed.
All the dog owners we have met are responsible with their dogs, no aggressive behavior allowed. There is a smaller fenced in areas for dogs up to 30 pounds, and a huge area for large dogs. Our Golden Doodle runs like a horse when she gets off leash at this park, and sleeps well at night afterwards.

We have been around 10 dog parks and this one is one of our favorites the community of people that come here are very positive and optimistic people in fact it has surprised us that so many people have remembered our dog by his name and actively come approached us so their dog can play with our dog.

We are a new dog owners we’ve had our puppy for about 2 months now and we are so happy to know that a local dog park is so welcoming and accepting and it’s just so spacious and there are so many places to sit in the shade or you can stand and hang out with the group. Parking can be tight but regardless it’s well worth waiting for a spot. The only thing that’s weird is that it’s closed on Sundays.

Paso Nogal Park is a hidden gem for dog lovers in Pleasant Hill! The park is spacious, well-maintained, and has separate areas for large and small dogs, which makes it ideal for all kinds of pups to play safely. The fenced sections give you peace of mind, allowing dogs to roam freely while you relax and enjoy the scenery.

There are plenty of benches for owners to sit and chat while their dogs socialize, and it’s a great community spot with friendly regulars. The park is clean, with plenty of trees offering shade on warmer days, and the natural landscape is both beautiful and calming.

My only suggestion would be to have more water stations for dogs, especially during the hotter months. But overall, it’s a fantastic dog park that’s worth visiting if you’re in the area. Your furry friend will thank you!

My first time at this dog park. Really big with lots of space for all the dogs to run. Separate big dog and little dog areas. All the owners were very friendly and welcoming of my puppy. All the pups we played with were well behaved and knew how to play with different temperments. I felt my pup was safe throughout our visit.
