Chilpancingo Dog Park offers a quiet, shaded escape for dogs and their owners in Pleasant Hill, CA. Tucked away off Golf Club Road, this park is known for its peaceful, uncrowded atmosphere and beautiful mature trees that provide plenty of cool shade—even on warm days. With a combined yard for both small and large dogs, it’s an excellent spot for pet owners who want their dogs to socialize together regardless of size, and for those who prefer a more laid-back dog park with fewer crowds.
The park includes benches for seating, a dog-friendly water fountain, and a sidewalk trail for those who want to get in extra steps while their pets play. It’s a great local choice if you’re seeking pet-friendly trails, dog-friendly hiking, or a calm space for your dog to run off-leash in the heart of Pleasant Hill. While it tends to be quieter than larger parks in the area, its relaxing environment and easy access make it a hidden gem for local dog owners.
Sorry!! Come to our dog park in Benicia!!! It is big, with shade, lots of chairs to sit in….Good water supply. Fun people and dogs! It’s where it’s “happening” for canines! This park is very small, no one is here, and where do the big dogs run?
This is a great dog park if:
1) You have a small & large dog and want them to be able to play in the same space.
2) Your good with only a few dogs being there.
3) You want to safely get in your steps or daily walk while there, (on the sidewalk trail inside this park).
4) You don’t want to be in the sun (lots of shade)
If you’re looking to socialize with alot of people and have a pack of dogs for your pooch to play with, this will not be the right park for you. Go to Paso Nogal Dog Park.
Very nice dog park with a lot of shade. This is definitely a place to come to him on Wednesdays when the other dog park is closed.
Small l, quiet and peaceful
It’s not a super busy park – sort of hidden
Lots of shade and beautiful trees.
I would give it 5 stars if it wasn’t for the outside of the park — it’s kinda odd if you go you will know what I’m talking about, but it’s definitely worth going to let the pup run free and to relax
Great little dog park with lots of shade and benches. Gets a bit busy in the afternoon but great park. Expect big dogs mixing with small dogs due to it being combined yards. My only downside is there only being 1 doggy water fountain.
