Exceedingly nice and well maintained playground. It looks like some work has been done recently. The pond at the bottom of the hill had more turtles then I’ve ever seen in one place.

We visited this park today, and it turned out to be a delightful hidden gem! Tucked away from the main roads, it offers a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle. The entire area was incredibly clean and well-maintained, from the picnic spots to the walking paths. One of the best features was the spotless bathroom facilities—something you don’t always find at parks. It’s a perfect place for a quiet day, with plenty of space to relax and enjoy nature. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a serene getaway!

I think the equipment could use a good cleaning and maybe a maintenance check to ensure overall safety. I did call the Parks and Recreation Department about a couple things, they said it will be on the list of things to do. I will check when I return. As long as this gets done, I keep the rating and would say this is a great park to bring children to of all ages. There is a large field, picnic tables and Frisbee Golf that sits here as well. It’s a very peaceful park and has a great sunset view. I’ll try to get photos to add ASAP.

Wonderfully updated and has restrooms. The frisbee golf course is a really nice addition.

Absolutely great! Off the beaten path, but that just improves the park. Less people=more peace and quiet. The only reason thing that keeps it from a 5 star rating is the feeling that it’s own city and county have given up on it.
