Cute paved trail around a lake/pond
Been for full moon yoga a couple of times too
Cute park, football fields (without lights at night), soccer fields, and baseball fields (with lights). Clean bathrooms and concession stands. Has walking trails and a small playground and a good fishing lake.
This place is a hidden gem! Such a beautiful place to walk, and seems quite safe to me. I like that the whole half mile or so path is basically visible to the parking lot, etc. Usually see some people fishing here too! Just a really nice, beautiful place to walk.
Park was beautiful and well maintained. I wish they had a no smoking policy in the whole park not just the concessions, dugout, and bleachers. I don’t love breathing second hand smoke in the parking lot/ trails. Unless I’m misinformed, but that’s what the park rules I read stated.
This place is beautiful and to say the least, peaceful. Not very busy at all, perfect for the Platte County area townies. I let my dog roam the fields while I walk or run, he loves it! Everyone I have encountered here has been so nice and respectful. The farm fields are big enough that you can avoid any contact with other people as well. Just a great resource for the community.
