I truly love this dog park and take my dog here all the time, it’s generally a great place for dogs to run, play, and socialize. However, please be very aware of where your dog is at all times.
Unfortunately, my dog was attacked here by a pit bull and bitten on the ear. The incident was terrifying, and what made it worse was the owner’s complete lack of responsibility. She hardly did anything to help, made no effort to control her dog. It was clear she knew her dog had behavioral issues, it was wearing a shock collar, which she didn’t even use during the attack. She did not apologize after and continued to stay at the dog park after the attack and did not even bother to remove her dog from the park since it’s clearly a threat.
Her negligence left my dog’s ear bleeding and me feeling shaken. It’s deeply frustrating when irresponsible owners bring aggressive dogs into an off-leash space without the ability or willingness to control them. This park itself is great, but careless owners like this can ruin it for others and put dogs in danger
I can’t recommend this place enough! It has truly become our favourite destination for relaxing Sunday family days with our furry friends. Our dog is adopted, and we were unsure how he would react, but everyone here was extremely gentle and treated him with kindness, as if he were a little puppy, even though he’s already 2 years old.
I’ve been checking out some local dog parks lately but this is by far my favorite. I have to drive 15 minutes but I don’t mind. I always take my dog to the small size side. It they have mixed and large dogs too. always has with their dogs so my dog can socialize. always have parking, and it’s just all around a great time.
This dog park is fantastic! The local community that visits is wonderful, and their dogs are so well-trained. It’s also very family-friendly, making it an ideal spot for those with both kids and dogs. I can’t recommend this place enough! Finally found a clean, well maintained dog park in south Florida. I drove about 18 minutes and it was worth it 5x over. The grass is noticeably clean, the locals really do a great job at picking up after their dogs, and they have 3 separate fenced areas depending on dog size/energy.
I did notice a couple of more aggressive dogs, but the owners kept them near by and even one on a leash. My Whiskey loved it here (mini dachshund) and we will definitely be coming back often.
