This is a nice little park tucked away off of Barnstead Road before you get to route 28 in Pittsfield, New Hampshire. It’s along the Suncook River and surrounded by conifers, so it’s shady in the summer and really pretty in the snow. There are picnic tables and grills to be able to have cookouts at the park. There are no signs that say no swimming, but I would take caution because you could get caught in the current of the river. The reason I did not give it five stars is because the road going in is very eroded, and unless you have a truck or something that has a high ground clearance, you’re going to be hitting the bottom of your car on roots and rocks. You can always walk in but, I’m not sure where you can park to do that.
