Nice solid boardwalk. Unfortunately some people feel a need to disregard the signs and the boardwalk and walk in the woods, but that is not the park’s fault, that is the fault of inconsiderate visitors. There is no need to stray from the great boardwalk. You can see the forest flowers and hear the wonderful sounds of the woods just fine from the accessible walkway.
Very nice little park, managed by Miami County Parks. There are hiking trails, picnic shelters, a fishing pond, and an archery range.
Decent sized pond with plenty of fish. Clean and maintained park. Definitely cleanest park restroom I’ve ever been in and seen. Dogs welcome
Garbry Reserve is AWESOME! One of my all time favs! It’s very pretty and green. Everything is beautiful. The trails are very clean and clear. It has a lot of “extras” that I haven’t seen in other reserves which includes a pond and an archery site w/ deer stand included. It also has quite a few picnic areas which are located throughout the reserve. It also has a restroom on site w/ other port-o-potties located throughout. This would definately be a great place to bring children. And your significant other if they’re into nature and shooting a bow and arrow. It has multiple parking areas which means there’s multiple spots you can enter into the reserve. It’s very lush and big. That’s what I like about the reserves. Alot of space to walk and alot of things to see. It’s big enough to get lost even though you wouldn’t get lost 😁 I would say I am DEFINATELY returning to Garbry Reserve. Next time I’ll bring company. This place is most def a five ⭐
Very nice walking trails, archery practice areas, and relaxing lake areas.
