We had an adventure today checking out all these swings! There are bathrooms and picnic tables here! Plenty of parking Free to enjoy! Located near the Golf Course Clubhouse past the Lodge!

We stayed at the lodge. The room was clean and we had a wonderful view of the mountains. We hiked around the lake, which was beautiful (listed as a 2.2 mile hike, turned out to be more like 3.5 miles).
The personnel were friendly, but I feel that they were not happy (perhaps need better pay?). The Lodge is run down and needs attention (State funding?) and I almost gave it 2 stars because of the horrible drink that was passed off as coffee. What was that? Hickory nuts? Dishwater? Yucky!

Great staff. Trails are beautiful. Wonderful place for family vacations.
