Great free spot to park to get access to several trails. Basic restroom is useful. Shortest trail is a loop, but there is access to several out-and-back trails.

Beautiful some shaded well maintained trails and a nice cool river swim at the end.

Excellent hiking trail but the river was a little too high in one spot and washed out the trail but this was expected since we had a bad rainstorm the last few days.

It was fantastic view early this morning that surrounded by fogs that make a scenery mystic. Most of spots are flat however if getting closer to River side that was pretty rocky that need to have trekking shoes otherwise all other place sneakers and running shoes also Ok .
Most of place got data reception LTE 2 to 1
The scenery with various vibes was fantastic. Strongly recommend but not after rain ,,,,

Plenty of parking with no charge. A nice loop with some side trails closer to the water, and some nice elevation if you go the other way. Some switchbacks give you the option of going to the top, with some nice views of the river, and the mountains of Tahoe in the other direction. Mostly hikers, but some bike and horse riders. There are usually a good number of people there, but never feels crowded. Mix of shade and sun.
