Reservoir Dog Park is a hidden gem for dog owners seeking a peaceful, shaded retreat in Phoenixville, PA. Located at 320 Franklin Ave and set back in a wooded area, the park offers a spacious environment for your dog to run, play, and make new friends. Visitors praise its abundant shade and tranquil, slightly overgrown natural feel, making it a favorite dog-friendly spot for locals. This dog park features a fenced-in area, a double-gated entrance for safety, and separate sections for large and small dogs (although some reviews mention the small dog area can get overgrown). There are amenities like poop bag posts (though these may occasionally need refilling) and a water spigot just outside the enclosure. With its welcoming vibe and local volunteer maintenance, Reservoir Dog Park is a great place for pet owners in Phoenixville seeking a relaxing and pet-friendly outing.
I love to take my dogs here! It has gotten a little overgrown over the years but it’s still perfect for dogs to run around. It’s huge compared to other places, set back in a wooded area and has plenty of benches to sit on. I think it’s Phoenixville’s hidden gem! (I believe it’s maintained by volunteers)
Great park with lots of space, good amount of benches, and tons of shade for hot days! A little overgrown but makes it a nice woodsy kind of park. Really sucks the borough decided to put a bike park here to move the dog park back into the old lot which is much smaller, not at all maintained, and has an extreme lack of shade. Maybe should have put the bike park there since it’s already not in use.
Like this dog park. It could use some refreshing. Waste bag posts are empty. Kiddie pool damaged. Small dog park is completely overgrown – I don’t blame small dog owners that come in the big dog park – I would too. But overall it’s a nice place to bring our dog to.
A very nice, shaded park with a double-gated entrance and separate area for large/small dogs. Poop bags available. There is a water spigot just outside the dog enclosure. There are several nice benches for humans to sit.
Cozy but not maintained.
This could be such a lovely little spot but it looks like it’s been neglected and has been touched all year. Even considering how hot it has been, the weeds are pretty tall and the overall land hasn’t been too well maintained.
