🐾 Kids at the Dog Park: Real Stories, Safety Risks & Smarter Solutions

Located at 100 Longford Rd, Longford Park/Reynolds’ Dog Park is one of the most popular dog parks in Phoenixville, Pennsylvania. This dog park offers well-maintained, fenced exercise areas for large, medium, and small dogs, each with their own dedicated space for safe off-leash play. The park connects directly to dog-friendly hiking trails along the Schuylkill River, making it perfect for pet owners interested in exploring pet-friendly trails before or after their park visit.
Visitors benefit from a clean environment, accessible paved paths, wheelchair-accessible parking, and public restrooms nearby. Waste stations are provided and are kept fully stocked with poop bags, making it easy to clean up after your pup. While the park sees mostly full sun and limited shade, it is a favorite for those looking for a spacious, dog-friendly area to exercise, socialize, and unwind in the greater Phoenixville region.
This is a fairly well maintained park with a large area for the big dogs and a smaller enclosure for the smaller pups across the parking lot. There is little shade on the big dogs’ side and none at all for the small dogs, and there are no benches or places for people to sit. Nonetheless, I appreciate that it is there and often stop by when I’m padding the area.
Very nice area to walk your dog along the Schuylkill River with or just stop by in one of three fenced dog fields. From here you can access Schuylkill River trails and geese, ducks or turtles.
A nice dog park with room for the dogs to run. As with any dog park, there are some very friendly owners who watch their dog(s) and correct bad/inappropriate behavior. Then there are some who don’t. I think you will find that anywhere. The space is one open fenced lot. This is my first experience with dog parks and so far so good.
Super location near Phoenixville. We are bikers and the SRT joins up with the Perkiomen trail nearby. Got legs and good brakes? Throw in the Audubon loop. Picture not related, breaking bad vibe
This is a fantastic dog park for, Small, Medium, and Large breeds having separate exercise areas.
Decent size exercise areas. It would be nice if they put in seating areas. Be aware this park gets mostly full sun. On warmer days where you want shade, this may not be the park for you; especially if you have a small dog breed.
The fanciest poop bag recepitcals I have ever seen! And they had extra poop bags on site in case you forgot yours.
This park is very clean every time I have visited. Clean dog park, clean parking lot. It was cute to see toys saved on the fence where the owner may return to find it.
