Rose Mofford Dog Park is a popular dog-friendly destination located conveniently at 9833 N 25th Ave, Phoenix, AZ 85021. This well-maintained park features separate fenced areas for both small and large dogs, making it perfect for dog owners who prefer to keep their pets with similarly sized companions. The park is known for being wheelchair accessible throughout, with accessible entrance paths and parking to ensure everyone can enjoy a day out with their furry friends.
Visitors appreciate the park’s amenities, including water access and kiddie pools to keep dogs cool during the hot Arizona summers. There are plenty of shady spots thanks to the trees, and seating areas for owners to relax while their pups play. Parking is generally easy to find, though it can get crowded on weekends due to nearby softball games. Rose Mofford Dog Park stands out for its friendly community, effective maintenance, and thoughtful separation for different dog sizes—making it a must-visit spot for Phoenix pet owners looking for off-leash fun!
The park is actually wonderful. My review of three stars is because of the people that attend. There is a group of senior citizen. Specifically this one older gentleman has three great Danes. He knows they terrorize other dogs when they’re near him and yet he lets them go, and so if your dog approaches their group of senior citizens, those dogs will attack you beware
My dog loves this park! We love that there are pools for her to play in during the hot days. Great people (so far) too!
Great place to bring your dogs! There are two areas, one for small dogs and one for big. They are right next to each other making it easy for dog parents with two different size dogs.
If you have a small dog, there is an only small dogs part in the park. During the summer, you can go later in the evening to avoid harsh sun. There are a few trees and available water supply. When we were there, there was a kiddie pool to cool of your pups. My Bentley approves of this park and this review.
Love this park! Good people and dogs, very good maintenance and easy parking access close to entrance gates. It is right next to a softball field and so the weekends get hectic trying to find parking as the team’s spill over into the dog park lot. Hopefully we can get dog park only signs put up before next season other than that its wonderful
