We especially loved the safety or girls had a lot of fun! Jumping from the three different sizes of diving boards. They definitely need a little more shaded areas, overall the experience was good and the lifeguards are so informative and kind. Love the place!!!
Paradise Valley Park is a great neighborhood park. Features include, a skate park, a pool, a senior/community center, a playground, a dog park, restrooms, plenty of parking, trails, picnic benches, close access to the city’s trail system, and I right next to a miniature golf course with batting cages.
I went to this park for the first time with my kiddo. The slide on the small children’s side was barred off. It does appear this park could use some TLC. There are a few unhoused individuals that kept to themselves, but were a little uncomfortably close to the playground. Other than that, the community is great, and quiet. I most likely won’t come back here, with the bathrooms not being opened.
Our drum circle gathers here every Tuesday from 7-9:30 pm. Family and pet friendly and we have extra drums to share if anyone wants to join us!
It’s a beautiful location!
This is a decent park. It’s not much too look at but if you need something quick and easy in the Phoenix area this is it. My only complaint is off leash dogs. Seriously people there is a law. I saw at least 6 in the span I was there which wasn’t too long. There is a dog park but people choose to have them walk off leash in the park. The dog pictured was a foster dog I had who was leashed the entire time. Due to this safety risk and the general lackluster it’s 3/5 for me. Decent but if you have the time there are better parks in Phoenix. Overall it’s just okay and did what I needed it to.
