I like it. Needs more to it in my opinion.. but other then that. It is alright. Needs a little more stepping up. The cabin.. as well. Needs a step up. Other then that. I do like going here for a good walk. All I can say.
Large castle-wall like play area. Nice large walking path that is probably close to a mile and the smaller path beneath the pines is 1/4 mile. It also contains a disc- golf range, baseball fields, soccer fields, a pond, and on the off chance you might play pokemon GO, it has 4 stadiums!
Nice place for walking dog or just walkung with friends. Great playground for kids. Love to go watch kids playing ball.
We had a nice time at the park today, but the playground would be so much better if the trash were picked up inside and around the equipment. It could all use repair, pressure washing, and some paint. However, that being said, we picked up trash ourselves and disposed of it. Just picking up the litter helps! I know others coming here could do so as well. Having a park in your town is a privilege. It gives adults and children a nice place to be able to play, get fresh air, exercise, and socially interact with each other; if you see trash items, pick it up and put it in one of the many trash bins around there. Teach your children to respect what they have by being an example yourself. Start picking up things you see that need to be cleaned up. Teach them not to misuse or vandalize the equipment and public use areas. Teach them to appreciate the fact it is there and not take it for granted. When we all pitch in and do our part, we all have a nice place to go relax and have a wonderful time.
I love being at north side because of the beauty of the place. My son has football practices and baseball practices here. Its just a good place to take kids and have fun.
