I love walking around the lake. Haven’t seen any beavers lately, hopefully they have been taken care of.

Moon Lake Park is a wonderful public park which does not allow dogs at the lake but does allow dogs on the Nature Trail adjacent.

Nice place for a walk around the lake, but the Nature Trail hasn’t been maintained.

Came here a couple times. I would rate it a 5 star, but I feel like it’s one of those places you stumble upon if you live nearby just to get some exercise. It’s nothing too crazy like a must-see but it’s very peaceful. The lake has a walkway along the entirety of it and is equipped with multiple sitting areas. It is great for a walk, run or bike ride. It’s flat area so it would make good practice for beginners or children. It takes about 30 minutes to walk around it so I’d say it’s only a bit larger than a football field.

I’ve also noticed people fishing here. I’m unsure if it’s legal but it would make a nice spot. You will also make some friends with the geese! They’re so beautiful and make the walk even more serene. This place would make for a lovely sunset picnic date.

I also noticed there is a Tennis court right across from the lake and there may have been a small playground.

Overall, if you live in the area and need a close by spot to take your kids or have a breather, this is a perfect spot. 5/5. If you don’t live in the area, I recommend a different spot if you’re looking for a path to walk or lake to fish.
