Located in the heart of Perry Hall, Gough Park is a well-maintained green space ideal for families and dog owners alike. The park features a scenic 0.4-mile walking path that loops around large, open sports fields, perfect for leashed strolls and light dog-friendly recreation. With mature trees providing natural shade and a peaceful environment, it’s a great spot for pet-friendly walks or enjoying the fresh air with your canine companion.
Although Gough Park is primarily known for its soccer fields and baseball diamonds rather than a dedicated dog park, it still offers plenty of room for walking and relaxing with pets. Covered pavilions, public restrooms (during park rentals), and ample parking enhance the convenience for park visitors. While there is not an official fenced dog area, the well-kept surroundings and clean facilities make this a top choice for dog-friendly activities in Perry Hall.
Nice park not much trail but good for kids. Went geocaching
You’ll be surprised how many things you can do here – soccer, baseball fields, jogging, walking or other recreational activities.
A nice sports park. There is no playground, but there is public restrooms, covered pavilions and a nice walking path around the fields. It’s mostly soccer fields with both Jr and full sized fields. And a few baseball diamonds as well. Everything is very well maintained with no rust or trash in site.
Beautiful beach with plenty room. Unfortunately you couldn’t take an Uber to the actual water. Way too far of a walk to get to water. Awesome inlet view. Would’ve like to fish the beach but simply too far to walk in the heat. Parking fills quickly.
A really nice park to walk in. The path surrounding the fields is 0.4 mile. There are some nice trees on the path and surrounding the field. No public bathroom unless the park is privately rented. No playground.
