Yesterday 06/12/24, someone came after 2pm and let their dog shred every single toy left out here for the dogs to share. Every ball, every squeaky toy has been absolutely shredded. The porta potty is nasty and hasn’t been serviced (and documented) since 2015. It’s just nasty out here and the local dog owners who come do not have leash or dog park manners. Inconsiderate and rude people talking about “oh my dog is friendly,” and then the dog ignores commands and jumps on people and their dogs. The owners will bag their pets poop and then hang it on the fence like an ornament, or toss it to the ground. You literally cannot leave the dog park without walking directly passed the disposal bin (please see photo.) There isn’t a camera out here to find the bridge trolls who let their dog destroy six toys. SIX. in one afternoon. Please do not come here. Bayview Dog Beach is nice, and those owners have good dog park manners and leash manners. The people in the dog training club are very sweet, and this post isn’t about them.
Been bringing our dogs here for years. Poop bags on site, water fountains for dogs’ owners and dogs. Bathroom for humans are a hit or miss. It would be nice if they were left open, but I suppose it’s safer they aren’t?!
Not the most run room for large dogs, but they recently modified the pens so they can run double the length it was. We love it when they have the place to themselves. Under construction and no paved parking presently. In some spots, the grass is bare.
My dog loves it here!!! Pet parents must pick up after their dogs!!!!! It’s not right to leave your dogs poo in the park period. My fur baby stepped in someones boo boo @ this point not sure if it was the owners or the pet(s)! 😣 Totally unsafe, unacceptable and irresponsible. Don’t get pets if you’re too lazy to pick up their bowel movements. In front right next to the fountains includes free bags for waste, trash bin & water fountain for humans and dogs(about 3 to 5 feet by park) Plus there’s 2 sides. One section that’s closed off(gated) for small and one for medium to large dogs. We met nice people and dogs there. Nice breeze & shade with the trees.
