Set in a beautiful wooded environment, the park features well-maintained hiking trails, large open fields, and vintage shelters with fireplaces, making it a perfect spot for gatherings or a peaceful day outdoors.

The shelter’s large enclosed room provides comfort and shelter in all weather, while the adjacent open lawns give dogs and families plenty of space to play and explore. While there isn’t a dedicated fenced dog park area, the Ledges Shelter stands out for its rustic charm, walking trails, and its welcoming atmosphere for dogs on-leash. It’s also a great spot for kids, birthday parties, and group events.
Very nice for party event. Fireplaces on each end of large room provided nice warmth for early spring chill.
Beautiful area and great place for hiking and to have a picnic lunch. There are restrooms here as well
Lovely & well maintained vintage shelter with clean restroom facilities. Large open lawn for family/friend games, beautiful woodsy hiking trails, & gorgeous view of the valley. Bring a picnic, plenty of private picnicking areas within private wooded coves.
Went on a hike today. Just over 2 miles of gorgeous trails! Wear good shoes. Highly recommend taking a walk here. Not for the elderly as there are many hills and lots of rocks/roots sticking out of the ground.
This is a large rustic enclosed shelter with electric and lights if needed. There are large fireplaces at either end. A basic smaller area has a counter for food and an indoor sink. Bathroom facilities are accessed from the outside in this same building, available for all hikers. An attached, roofed large picnic area and an ample grill for charcoal or wood cooking along with a spacious field for activities completes this scenic gathering place.
