I grew up walking the trails of this park. It is always a nice place to walk and enjoy a piece of the forest. The center piece: the big rock is a fun to climb protruding hunk of -granite?- probably deposited by a glacier.

It’s a great park with some nice walking trails. There’s signage near trees that give you information about the plants and stuff but the park is very poorly maintained. Lots of choking vines killing trees. I think the park could use someone to maintain it, but in the past most of the improvements have come from grants and private donations from local people and companies.
I love the place and highly recommend it to everybody
