FAQ for Pea Ridge City Park in Pea Ridge Arkansas:
Very nice walking trail with a pretty steep small hill. Lots of equipment and a splash park for the kids! Easy to get in and out
This is a great place to take your kids rather if they play at the playground or splash pad or take a walk or to play ball. It’s also great for adults walking or running trails. Also, there is now a large area for workout.
Nice circle walking trail, in a pretty tree lined park. Basketball court, fields for football or other practices, plenty of park equipment for the kids, and seats for the parents, in the summer they also have a splash pad. There are also bathrooms on site. Great place to hang out on a pretty day!
Pleasant place for a walk (partially paved, partially gravel). Has one large, muddy, slippery area on the paved portion and multiple areas where water accumulates on gravel portion. Spacious areas with well-kept playground equipment and picnic tables. A couple of fields, a tiny basketball court, and a small splash pad. Clean restrooms. Plenty of garbage cans. Numerous potholes in parking lot.
Nice park that should make both people with kids and people with dogs happy. There are two stations with dog poop bags and plenty of trash receptacles around. It looks like people actually clean up after their pets here (bravo!), as I wasn’t having to watch my step too carefully, except around the basketball court for some reason. Park is big enough that you can avoid other people walking dogs, which is good if you have a dog that likes to bark at other doggos like mine does. Some of the playground equipment looks ancient, like a metal slide from the early 80s, but other things look brand new and park seems generally well maintained. Watch out for the small ravine in the center of it if you have a dog that likes to pull you along to chase squirrels 😉.
