For such a small town they have an awesome dog park. Lots of green area for running and playing. I’m not sure when but they added something like a dog obstacle course, my dogs refused to entertain me with the different obstacles but it is a great addition to the dog park.
A big thing I like about this dog park is the people that bring their animals to the park. It is like a little community with everyone taking turns taking, filling and returning the water jugs that have been collected/donated. This helps all of us be able to keep the water bowls, that are sitting under the nice shade tree, get filled with clean water. There is also lots of dog toys that have been left or donated.
The ONLY reason I didn’t give it five stars is because there is ALWAYS room for improvements, in all things in life.
I heard rumor they’re going to try to sell this property and turn it into Apartments I hope everybody that lives around this Park puts a stop to it
Unexpected find in a neighborhood park. Needed a place to run our pup after a day on the road. Nice lush lawn. LOTS of agility props placed across the park. A couple of benches near one large tree. Didn’t see a water fountain but someone placed a couple of metal dog bowls and a 5-gal jug full of fresh water under the tree. A portapotty was available for dog owners. Overall a very clean park. Fine for our 50lb pup but I can see how smaller dogs might be intimidated.
Cute little obstacle course, all fenced in, poop bags provided, benches for the owners… one happy family! It’s actually quite a bit more than we expected for the area.
