Boynton Park is a local favorite for dog owners looking for a spacious and scenic spot to enjoy the great outdoors. This dog park in Paxton, Massachusetts boasts expansive, well-maintained hiking trails, open fields, and plenty of natural beauty. The park is popular for its off-leash policy once you’re 100 feet from the parking lot, making it ideal for dog-friendly hiking and pet-friendly adventures. Dogs and their owners enjoy a mix of gravel and off-road trails, with creeks, streams, and a seasonal waterfall adding to the charm (though these can be dry depending on the time of year).
Families also love Boynton Park for the playgrounds, pavilions, and picnic areas, ensuring there’s something for everyone. The shaded areas provided by the surrounding trees offer relief during summer months, and the covered picnic areas are perfect for gatherings. Favorite place to hike with the dogs. Unfortunately more and more people from the area are showing up with untrained or unneutered or unspayed dogs. It creates tension in the field with the other dogs. Please be aware if you have an untrained dog and you bring your dog to a park and it starts a fight you will be held liable for the damages to other pets

Love this park for walks with dogs! All seasons are great. Sometimes there’s a lot of dogs in the field, sometimes it’s just us. The trails are well kept and easy to navigate.

This is the best place to take dogs! Definitely consider it an “off leash dog park” because that’s effectively what it is. You’ll encounter lots of unleashed dogs on all the trails. My dogs love it, this is the exact type of place I’ve been looking for. Gets very muddy after the rain so watch the softball field.. my white dog comes out brown every time! But he couldn’t be happier.
EDIT: regarding the response from the owner. Good luck with that.. I found this place due to all the reviews specifically stating dogs are off leash. You can all read them. I no longer live here so I won’t be breaking the rules anymore but I can promise dozens more are still doing so daily.
