FAQ for Paxtang Commons Park in Paxtang Pennsylvania:
Nice, clean, enjoyable picnic area. Mother’s Day was very special!
Nice little park. Has a tiny walking trail and some things for the kids to climb on and slide down. Tiny baseball field also. There’s no parking except 2 handicapped spots so we parked next to a house that had a sidewalk and wandered over with our snacks and drinks.
I used to go here with my grandma and brother when I was little. Going back gives me nostalgia. I miss the old swings and slide though. Now everything is plastic and “safer”. Come on, scraling your knee once or twice won’t kill you.
Fantastic park. Cultivated play areas for younger children (play equipment), a great field for running. A wonderful creek and a woods with trails for getting kids out in nature, but conveniently close to the city. I do wish it had swings.
We like to bring the little one here, while we sip our afternoon Starbucks 😄. Two climbing sets, one for toddlers, and another for older kids. Pretty quiet and tucked away. Other than the playsets, the park is a little raggedy, but it’s good for a little climbing.
