Don has been walking our dog Bea for a few years now. He is professional, attentive to our dog and always reliable. Don has helped us out with extra walks when needed and always lets us know how Bea did each day. We are so grateful for his care and dedication to animals. We would highly recommend him to anyone.

Don helped us at a critical time with our Bernese Mountain Dog puppy, Arlo. From the start, he showed a genuine love and deep understanding of our dog’s breed and personality. He not only helped us train Arlo as a puppy, but he continues to be a trusted part of our lives—walking Arlo three days a week and babysitting him when we’re in a pinch.

Arlo absolutely lights up when Don walks through the door and looks forward to his outings with him every day. But the best part? As a puppy, Arlo seemed stubborn and didn’t always respond to the commands Don taught us—but now, a year later, he follows every single one. It was like Don’s calm, steady presence laid the groundwork for a transformation that just needed time to bloom.

Arlo is now incredibly well-trained and an angel around guests and strangers—something we honestly weren’t sure would happen. We couldn’t be happier. I hesitated to write this review only because we selfishly want to keep Don all to ourselves… but he truly deserves the recognition.

Don has worked for me since 2016. I have multiple show dogs and cats and he shows up 7 mornings a week, like clockwork, to feed, clean, exercise, do vet runs, bathing and medicating if needed.
Don also lends a hand with things like taking out the garbage and bringing in packages. This is a busy home/hobby kennel. I couldn’t do this without him!

Don, the Dog Tutor, has been a huge help navigating the responsibilty of being the sole provider and supporter of my two wonderful dog companions when my husband died in 2020. Having his help caring for them with scheduled walks and being able to give them a familiar face when I need to travel and leave them behind, has been priceless. I am lucky to have found him and his beautiful, supportive wife Maria. A great local resource. 👍
