The empire trail is immaculate through the Putnam section! This location on the other hand is improperly marked. The trail access is on route 311. The no parking sign should have been your first clue. Obviously they’re not going to develop and if they don’t want you parking there.

A peaceful way to spend time. Walk, run, bike or wog (walk-jog).
The trail is a beautiful place to visit.
But I’m not giving away my favorite spot, then there won’t be any room for me.
So relaxing.

Please use caution. There isn’t a lot of room to park, there is a large pit in the lot you don’t want to drive into, and also blocking this is illegal, so the way most people park isn’t even permitted. I wish they would develop this.
