Located in Pataskala, Ohio, Thomas J. Evans Foundation Park is a sprawling community greenspace that welcomes dogs and their families. The park is particularly popular for its dog-friendly hiking and walking paths, with scenic routes winding around open fields, a small fishing pond, and along the South Fork Licking River. With plenty of open space, it’s great for those searching for a dog park in Pataskala, Ohio to enjoy a long walk or outdoor play with their pet.
For families, this park goes beyond just being pet-friendly – it offers playground equipment, baseball and basketball courts, soccer fields, and picnic tables. Multiple parking lots and entrances make access convenient, and the area is known for its wheelchair accessibility and clean facilities. While there isn’t a designated fenced dog area, the park is known for its safe, open space and nature trails perfect for pet-friendly hiking and leisurely outings with your leashed companion.
Large park for field sports but not a lot of playground area and parking is difficult.
We went to the park for a 4th of July celebration. There is lots of open space for playing and a decent playground. They have a working concession stand, which was really nice as most parks don’t anymore. Parking was hard that day but I am sure that was due to the holiday. I imagine on a regular day it is more than adequate. There are also several entrances and separate parking at each, which I also really like. This was the first time I had been here, but I will be back to check it out again.
Huge park, they could use some better signage direction to the fields. Side note, take your tissues to the restroom!
Large clean park, felt safe. Lot of families. Video below my 3 grand daughters all age 2 while at the park. Fun day.
This is a very large and nice park. It has a walking path that goes around the park, small fishing pond, shelter house, playground equipment, basketball courts, baseball diamonds, soccer fields, a nature trail in the woods that the South Fork Licking River goes through, restrooms and plenty of parking.
