Decent park but they need to get rid of the Hornets nests in the volleyball sand. They have been there for at least 2 years now.
Just recently moved here but so far their paths are amazing and my pup is always so intrigued by the kids doing soccer practice. Or maybe he just wants to steal the ball. 🤣
Literally for a small park for a small city it’s perfect. Cant get much better than this it has everything you need. Fields to play football, soccer nets and a little soccer field both sizes, a big park for kids, a baseball field, swimming pool in the summer, great trails and a cool mini stream by the paths. Would reccomend for anyone. It’s a great stress reliever to come and do anything. Even have a date with a picnic or barbecue.
This is a great little community park. I love the art on the fence along the creek. My grandson loves the playground and asks to come every day I watch him at his house.
There’s a good variety of activities that he was able to enjoy even when he was a year old. (That area was overgrown the last couple of times we came though.)
We love throwing rocks in the creek, putting our toes in the sand of the volleyball court, and hearing the train whistle now and then.
Large and well maintained park. It has playground equipment, shelter house, basketball and volleyball court, soccer field, baseball diamond, paved walking trail that follows a creek that is very scenic. Also the municipal pool is at the same location. There are restrooms and plenty of parking.
