Holly Bay Park is a vibrant community green space located in Pasadena, Texas, perfect for families and dog owners alike. The park features wide walking and biking trails (many recently paved), a scenic pond, picturesque open fields, and a playground suitable for both kids and adults. Its winding trails through woods offer local wildlife sightings and opportunities for dog-friendly hiking and jogging. There’s convenient parking and a large pavilion for gatherings, making it a well-loved spot for outdoor activities.
While not a dedicated dog park, Holly Bay Park is known for being a dog-friendly location and is popular with walkers and joggers accompanied by their pets. However, there is not a fenced dog area or dedicated off-leash section—dogs must be leashed. The park also boasts picnic areas, benches, a partial covered playground, and shaded spots to relax. There is a public restroom, though its cleanliness may vary. With accessible amenities, community events, and beautiful views, Holly Bay Park is a highlight among parks in Pasadena, TX.
Very nice, quiet park. Playground was great for kids and even adults! They have a cute ride-on zip line that I even rode on, which was a lot of fun! (I’m 55! lol) There’s also a large walking path with woods and deer, which I was able to snap a couple of pics.
Nice simple park with something for everyone. There is a trail that leads to another small neighborhood park which then leads to a long walking/jogging/biking/hiking trail that goes down Redbluff Rd to Bay Area Blvd. That trail is a few miles round trip. There are also trails that go by the bayou and throughout wooded areas.

The walking pathway is updated and cemented much wider. There are very few trees around the lap, so you would get Vit. D from the sun. There is a public restroom and it’s not well-maintained. The walking trail is a lot interesting because it’s unpaved good for bikers and hikers. They have a boardwalk for bird watching. But, you need to bring a walking stick to protect yourself from the neighborhood lost dogs or stray dogs. We had encountered an aggressive dog, I was very afraid to get attacked coz I was bitten by our own family dog when I was a kid!!
I usually go here for biking and playground for kids. This is a nice playground with many activities. It’s a partial covered playground which allows kids to play either under sun or shade. A clean restroom right next to playground is very convenience for both adults and kids. I will try night bike here when I get a chance.
It’s a great park and also great bike trails! There’s a variety of wildlife. We’ve seen rabbits, deer, turtles, snakes, fish like gar, gators and a few different kinds of birds. Pretty awesome place!
