Annandale Canyon Park

Annandale Canyon Park
Parking

Annandale Canyon Park offers a nice, short out-and-back hiking trail with a mix of urban and natural views. The trail features a clear, dirt path with a mild incline leading to a canyon overlook. It’s dog-friendly and kid-friendly, making it great for families and pets. Parking is available at the trailhead with about 6 spaces. While there isn’t much shade along the trail, starting early or late in the day can make the experience pleasant. Visitors often enjoy local wildlife like birds and bunnies during their visit.

A great short hike and some fresh air in the Pasadena neighborhood.

Cool little “hike”… 1/2 mi up from the parking lot with a view of the canyon.

Nice new out-and-back trail with a mix of urban and natural landscape views. The trail is a clear, dirt path with a mild incline to the overlook area up top. Started at 9am on a weekday and had the whole place to myself. Parking was easy, with 6 parking spaces available at the trailhead. There’s not much shade along the route but if you start early or late enough in the day the weather is fine. Saw a couple bunnies and heard a lot of birds. The dog really seemed to enjoy this trail as well. Overall a nice, quick, and manageable hike that I’d gladly do again.
