The community of dog owners is friendly, and the amenities, like water stations and waste bags, are always stocked. My dog loves it here, and so do I! Highly recommend for anyone in the area.
Never busy which is a really nice break from the crowded dog parks in neighboring towns. Well maintained grassy park with two sections for large and small dogs. I wouldn’t go to the large dog section after lots of rain since it can get a bit muddy. I think the permit was cheap – like NULL for the year? Love that there are benches and water fountains to keep the dogs cool in the summer. Not sure when they turn the water off for the winter.
Nice dog park that has grass and dedicated water fountains for dogs and humans a like on both the small and large dog areas. Well kept and the regulars are friendly. The entrance is a little small and hard to see but it’s there. The park and drive way to the parking wraps around this singular house.
This is just a huge patch of grass with a fence around it and a fence that separates 1 side from the other for big and small dogs…theres nothing there to look forward to….I said to myself, ” I could just take my pup out to an even bigger patch of grass outside of my home….Not going there again. NOT to mention, its a dirt road you must drive into to park the car….I hate dirt roads because 9 out of 10 times there will be some sort of pothole or 2, maybe even 3 or more laying somewhere on that road while I’m driving a brand new car. Needs some sort of obstacle course for mind stimulation which it does not have. Bottom line….They slapped a fence to a fairly good sized patch of grass that is not maintained and cut, added a cool little drinking fountain for us and the dogs and thats it. I attached a photo of the small dog side. The big dog side is the same thing. Not going again.
My rating is based on the fact that waste bags and running water are provided. Although the smallest dog park I’ve been in, it’s clean and seems well maintained. No obstacles or agility materials, just a small open field. Also another section for small dogs. Seems to be empty most of the time. And you don’t need a key fob like Montville. I’m from Boonton and this is the closest place.
