Mostly went to check it out to come back later in the year when conditions are warmer. But i will be back seems really good spot for birding and for looking for insects
It’s a great place to enjoy with the dog, hardly see anyone else, keep an eye on hunting seasons when going out for a walk.
I have spent a lot of time at Big Marsh photographing the waterfowl and scenic sunrises. Early morning or late evenings is the best time to view native wildlife. Spring migration is spectacular for geese and ducks.
Wide open marsh. Very nice habitat for waterfowl at the right time of year. Sounds like there is a healthy pheasant population here too.
2 boat ramps and plenty of room to park. Take a walk? Not much else but it’s gorgeous!
