Beautiful park with a great playground for the kids. We were there for Harvest Festival which made it even better!

Tons of trees, grass, volleyball net, skatepark, cute little play ground for the kiddos, and restrooms. There’s a stage for concerts also.

We stopped for a visit during Cherry Days. I used to live here and was shocked to see that they aren’t watering the park grass. It’s irrigation water, so about as cheap as it gets. And who wants to spend time as a park with mainly dead grass and dirt to play in? It used to be such a lovely park, still has some amazing, old trees (for now). Sad to see it being neglected. We need growing things, too.

Large, lovely park that’s just a few blocks from the Grand Avenue business area. Big, mature trees make lots of shade on a summer day. Check the schedule for music events at the band stand – like Pickin” In The Park.
