Pleasant Creek Cabins

Pleasant Creek Cabins offer a rustic and cozy stay with wheelchair accessible amenities including entrance and parking. The cabins are modestly sized, suitable for two people, and feature a rustic theme with front porches. The park area is good for outdoor activities like camping, hiking, biking, swimming, boating, and fishing with well-maintained trails. The site is family-friendly and dog-friendly with picnic tables and public restrooms available. However, cabins are a bit distant from parking and restrooms, and lighting inside cabins is limited.

Just weekday camping. Nice spot. Good neighbors. Decent fishing.
Camp, hike, bike, swim, boat or fish. Or bring a horse to the trail. Well maintained and clean trails for comfortable barefoot, down to earth(grounding) hiking.
They are just the right size for 2 people. Have a small fridge bunkers couch table n chairs and a lovely rustic theme. Love the front porch too.
The cabins are fine, as far as Iowa state park cabins go, but not my favorite. They are a fairly long walk from the parking lot and the pit restrooms, and they have no view at all. Cabin 1 is closest to the parking lot and restroom, and we stayed in cabin 4, the furthest. They are also more cramped inside than many of the other cabins we have stayed in. The A/C and heat worked well. The lighting in the cabin was pretty poor. There is a long path down to a finger of the lake from the cabins, but it is not an ideal place to keep a boat or to shorefish.
