Amazing place to take the whole family. Nice, smooth crushed limestone path that is easy for all ages and abilities. At the entrance, there are drinking fountains for adults, kids, and for our furry four legged friends. Over 250 different species of trees all labeled with plaques for identification. Toward the south part of the loop there is a butterfly garden where we saw several monarchs. There is also a bathroom located near the garden for when nature calls. If the walk proves to be a bit long, benches are placed along the path for a nice break and a chance to enjoy the scenery.
Nice mix of paved and crushed limestone trails. The wildlife is amazing, and it’s common to see deer.
Had a great hike session. Great scenes not too far from downtown.
Pretty area for casual walks, especially in Spring.
Nice walking or running trails. A great place to learn about trees as they have plaques telling you what the trees are. A small butterfly garden. Many benches to take a break and just enjoy the quiet surroundings
