Delaware Park is a beautiful, dog-friendly beach area known for its kayaking, fishing, and peaceful, secluded setting. The park features an updated parking lot and wheelchair accessible parking. It offers activities such as hiking and is good for kids, with kid-friendly hikes and public restrooms available. Despite recent changes to the parking lot distance making access more challenging for disabled visitors, it remains a favored spot for outdoor recreation and relaxation.

Nice beach. Pretty hidden so not very crowded. Had a nice little bath to walk on too

One of our favorite beaches. They just updated the parking lot as well. One of the few dog friendly beaches left in the thumb area as well.

We love this spot for kayaking. A smaller beach, lots of parking space. Easy access to the water for loading and unloading kayaks. We’ve seen fisherman out there too.

This.
Used to be our favorite beach for sunning and rock collecting and chilling. We just went there and they’ve made a new parking lot and increased the distance to walk. There is nothing for handicap parking and my husband and I are both disabled so it was quite a hike to get down to the beach. why isn’t there handicap places to park? Why did you have to make the parking lot so far from the beach? I don’t think we can come back because it was quite difficult for us to get back to our car. Why don’t people leave well enough alone? They did all this and added three picnic tables and three grills. big deal! Handicapped and disabled people are obviously not welcome.
