Really nice park with well maintained trails and beautiful scenery. Perfect for a peaceful hike or mountain biking. It’s not super crowded, which is a big plus. Only reason it’s not 5 stars is that parking can be a bit limited, and a few trail signs could be clearer. Overall, definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area!
Update: Visited again – a year later. Still awesome in all ways. Still clean and very well taken care of. Highly recommended. Previously: We visited Buffalo Creek Park with our 3 1/2 year old and he loved it. The play structure was solid, clean, and fun. The grounds were beautiful. There were grounds keepers actively working while during our visit. A baseball field and soccer field are adjacent to the playground equipment area and there is a basketball court too. This is a perfect spot for a quick visit or to bring a lunch and stay a while.
