If you’ve spent time at an off-leash park, you’ve probably seen it:A parent strolls in with a stroller 🚼 or […]
Located at 18 Florida Park Dr N, Holland Dog Park is one of the top dog parks in Palm Coast, Florida, catering to both pets and their owners with a variety of amenities. The park features separate, fully fenced sections for small and large dogs, ensuring a safe and enjoyable environment for dogs of all sizes. Ample parking, public restrooms, and wheelchair accessibility make this an easy and comfortable visit for everyone. There are also picnic tables, barbecue grills, and a playground for families, making it a great spot for the entire family to relax.
A unique feature of this dog-friendly destination is the retention pond within the large dog area, which has been double-fenced for safety after maintenance updates. Both dog areas offer shaded spots and water access, but visitors note that after rain the grounds can become muddy. The dog park is just one part of a larger public park that also includes tennis and basketball courts, a baseball field, and pet-friendly trails, making it a versatile stop for Palm Coast residents and visitors alike.
Looks like a awesome place for dog’s to play off the leash. They have 2 area’s 1 for small dogs and another for larger dogs.
The small dog park is nice but large dog park is the worse park I have been to. They built it around a retention pond. After many dogs got sick from water they put fence around but people still open it to go in for the dog to swim. Not against water but clean water. After they fence it it’s actually smaller then small dog park. If you don’t mind walking around on a incline wet muddy dirty no grass surface then it’s ok. The water faucets are always leaking which causes more mud. I can’t figure out why they close park up Monday and Friday morning they really don’t do anything. Palm coast council apparently don’t have dogs or just small ones. Sad to see
Update: the small dog park has been refurbished. They have addressed the dirt spots which has been helpful. Unfortunately they didn’t set up the sprinklers properly because some of the sod they put in is now dying if it doesn’t rain. And one sprinkler pipe must be broken because it is creating a hole. The solution? Put a cone over it. C’mon guys!… You can do better than that!!
ZERO STARS for the SMALL dog park. The park is poorly maintained even though they close the park for 4 hours 2 days per week for “maintenance”. Grass has died and the places where there is growth instead of dirt there are only weeds. There are many red ants so they must not be treating for them. Certain visitors allow their dogs to poop and don’t pick it up even though there are bags available. Other people bring in dogs to the small dog park that are clearly not under 30lbs jeopardizing the safety of the small dogs and potentially their owners.
FOUR STARS for the LARGE dog park. It is much better maintained. It has a central pond. It was refurbished a few months ago. Has a lovely shaded area.
Decent dog park. Has the basic amenities. Located next to a huge fenced in kids park, tennis courts, baseball fields, basketball court, etc., so public bathrooms are available and there is ample parking
***People and dog owners, PLEASE CLOSE all the gates when you come into and leave the dog park. You’re not doing anyone any favors by leaving a gate open. Remember that there are multiple entries to these dog park areas and if someone’s dog should get out and run away or get hit because you decided to leave ONE OF the OTHER GATES open, that’s just terrible of you!! If you can’t open and close gates behind you then don’t go to the dog park!!!
Nice dog park segregated by small dog park fenced and also large fence dog park cool cool
