Was there for the car show put on by the Palisade High School Band. Nice show in a well kept park.

Just discovered this place around the first of the month and it’s one of my new favorite places to go with the little one. It’s also quiet and has a variety of activities. With a large field and wrap around gravel track it’s certainly a good place for fitness or time out with the pooch. Though the pool has not opened yet, it looks clean and simple, not so big that would get overcrowded. There are ample picnic tables and two play areas. I appreciate how there’s one that looks more suitable for older kids and it is actually separated from that which is absolutely perfect for our little guy who is still wobbly when he walks. This makes it less stressful then other parks where all the kids can get crowded together making it a bit harder to let little ones who can be unsteady really be able to explore. All in all I think it’s a great place and with a dollar store just up the road a prime spot for a quick lunch or picnic.
