Seabrook Dog Park in Pacific Beach, Washington

Located in the charming, dog-friendly town of Seabrook, the Seabrook Dog Park offers a convenient spot for pet owners traveling through or staying in Pacific Beach, Washington. While compact and somewhat tucked away, this park provides a valuable space for dogs to stretch their legs and enjoy some exercise away from home or the car. The dog park is primarily surfaced with pea gravel, which some may find different from the more typical bark or sand found in other parks, but it helps minimize mud and clean-up.

Seabrook Dog Park stands out as one of the few places in Pacific Beach where dogs are explicitly permitted off-leash. It may not be the largest or most manicured facility, but it’s a welcome amenity for visitors seeking a dedicated area to let their pets play in a safe, fenced environment while exploring this beautiful coastal Washington community.

I was a little surprised by the size, given how dog-friendly Seabrook is, and the surroundings, given how manicured the rest of Seabrook is. It’s kind of tucked away. Still nice to have a place to let the dogs off leash outside, so I appreciated that there’s a dog park here.

This place is easy to find, but really not suitable for most dogs. It’s surprising because this town has so many great design features. Most of it is pea gravel instead of bark or sand. I suppose it’s better than being couped up in a car or a strange vacation house.
