Filing out an application now. Chiquita was great! Very informative! Looking forward to becoming a resident, or rather my son is. Thanks Chiquita! We’ll be in touch.

I’m not a resident just yet but I had the most pleasant encounter with Nelly at the leasing office. I walked in without an appointment and she assisted me without a second thought. She explained the application process to me and answered all of my questions. Although she was alone she was still able to show me the model unit and didn’t rush me through. Thank you for being so pleasant and kind Nelly!

Miss Yaleta was very patient with my wife and I when we came into the office to complete the lease renewal. She also understood our concerns and was very professional. I like the changes that is coming to the community.

Chiquita and Nelly were great! They were super helpful and professional in helping me get into my first apartment. The process was fast and easy, and I’m very satisfied with their customer service.

So, I stayed here for one year only and I must say I did not enjoy the stay. I did enjoy the convenience of the National Harbor, the shopping centers that I could go to. The model apartment is nice to look at but again Rats, bugs, loud noise, car break ins, limited parking and disrespectful management is a turn off. Legacy Residential is their parent company and they are not professional at all.
Some of the photos and videos are not of the best quality because of me rushing, trying to record everything. So apologies there. Also, please ignore the half furnished/ half empty apartment. I was in the process of moving. To include also, when my neighbors moved out, I ended up having drill holes in my ceilings from when they were revamping the unit above me. The office was informed with an email and photos, but nothing was done about it. I will give this place a 0/10, but that’s just my personal opinion. If you don’t drive, the P12 does stop in front of the complex.
I won’t lie the hard wood floors in some areas definitely provided a nice aesthetic, but there was nothing else that was a big wow. The windows are not that great at keeping the apartment hot or cold depending on the season. All hours of the day you would hear sirens blaring and I do mean all hours of the day as well as night.
So noise is a big factor when it comes to enjoying an apartment. I’m aware there will be noise, I expect it always. What I did not expect nor enjoy was the missing insulation. On countless nights, I’ve encountered the blaring music from my downstairs neighbors, especially in the bedroom. I could hear as if they were in the room with me, the songs they played, and some of their conversations. My neighbors next to me had several kids so they were always wrestling and throwing one another up against the wall, especially during the school breaks. My Upstairs neighbors, you could always tell where they were because the floor creaked, and it sounded like they would be in my apartment with me. When tenants would move in or out, best believe the critters would soon follow. Huge cockroaches and spiders in many of the corners, even if you kept the apartment clean. Parking was ridiculous for sure. They tried imitating paying for parking. People would park in handicap without the placard. So if you had a handicap placard, good luck with having a parking space. The washing and dryers were not in every building, they were located in every three buildings. Some washers and dryers would have roaches in them and at times one washer and dryer would be out of service, so it would be one that people could utilize. The rental staff changed about three times from when I moved in. The property manager and assistant manager were absolutely rude. My vehicle was busted in 2 times while living there and it was only mines that received damaged. Also, the bathroom corners and soap dish handle had mold so very unhealthy there.
Just an FYI, they will charge a NULL fee for apartment cleaning and another NULL for deep cleaning which entiles cleaning the carpet by a company they use and deep cleaning the refrigerator, freezer and stove and anything else in between. If you do not get the carpet professionally cleaned and provide proof, no matter what they will deduct that NULL from the security deposit.
Lastly, there will be rats running through the connected buildings. I’ve had them almost claw their way into my apartment. There were multiple rats trying to claw their way in. I had to repeatedly ask for a solution because they petrified me. They had to make a whole in the wall and blow them out and put some powder in it to stop the rats from clawing and almost getting in. One known way for the rodents to get in is because of the connected buildings and sometimes through the stove. Evictions have occurred so you may see your neighbors items on the street and picked through if their situation is not taken care of. I hope no one goes through that ever.
