My pet chocolate lab had a great time running and meeting new friends at the dog park. Park was really clean and well kept.

Nice Bark Park. The unusually high amount of discarded used condoms in the parking lot had me scratching my head a little. Not good for doggies consumption.

Excellent facility! Safe and secure fencing all around and very clean.
So far, out of 3 visits, we’ve been the only ones who were there on a week day evening. Check it out!

Cute little park. Smaller than other Chester County dog parks we have visited. As I approached the gate, preparing to enter, I encountered an owner of an apparently human unfriendly dog, alone in the large dog section. She said I shouldn’t come in as her dog “doesn’t like people.” That unless I wanted to risk being bitten, I shouldn’t come in and should wait about 10 minutes until she was ready to leave! I while I have pretty good patience and compassion (including empathy for people with challenging dogs – because I have one, too) but this person’s “ownership” of the space hit me the wrong way and I wasn’t quiet about it. I addressed her saying that I didn’t think that was proper etiquette for a PUBLIC dog park. Well, she didn’t budge and basically told me again I could choose to enter and risk being bitten. She also said that this park operated under “first come, first served” rules. That wasn’t on the posted park rules. And that others “hadn’t had any problem” with having to wait for her to finish “her turn.” So, just a heads up about my experience at this nice but small park.
