Play Ball Dog Park in Oxford, MD is a well-maintained, dog-friendly park featuring a grassy area where dogs can run and play. It offers picnic tables, benches, and shaded spots under trees, providing a comfortable space for both pets and their owners. The park is wheelchair accessible and generally clean with courteous dog owners. While the yard is a bit small and may get muddy after rain, it remains a great local spot with some dog agility play elements like balls and a play course. Water fountains are present but may be turned off in winter to prevent freezing.

A great park! A bit muddy with all the rain we’ve had but it’s well maintained. Water seems to be turned off in the winter to prevent freezing. Not sure why others are taking a star off for it… you don’t leave your house hose on in the winter.

Most of the fenced in area is high and dry there’s only one area that is muddy. Whole we were there about a half dozen dogs ran and played however there was one dog that was a bit aggressive and a minor skirmish broke out which was quickly suppressed.

Love this place! Closest dog park to St Michaels. Never super crowded. Benches to sit on while the dogs run around. A play course and balls for the dogs. Oxford’s a cute town.

This dog park is very nice! The grass is well maintained and there isn’t large patches of grass less dirt as in this case could have been but wasn’t. The area for drinking water is kept clean, well maintained and isn’t one big flooded area. The dog park has a picnic table out in the middle of the field which is nice. A bench in the far right corner under trees is perfect shade! The dogs have manmade, several manmade hollowed out tree sections turned on their sides so dogs can walk thru or lay inside and get shade perhaps. You don’t see piles of uncollected stool throughout the grass and area. For this reason it is clear to see that dog owners who participate in play time at this park, respect the property and I have found are highly courteous. Directions are very simple coming off of route 50. Oxford has many dog friendly restaurants and the town is a true pleasure to walk around with your pet. Don’t miss this one!!

Love this dog park. I try to go everyday. The yard is a little small but there’s plenty of room for your pup to run. Most of the time there’s no one there but during the week days between 3-5 there’s usually a few dogs. Would definitely recommend. It can get a little muddy after good rain storms but aslong as you have a towel or two in your car you’ll be good lol.
