The waters tend to get dirty and make it become unable to we’ll safely swim in it, but it is a nice location to go boating. Beautiful views. There is also a playground and a shaded picnic area.

This park was recommended to us since we enjoy taking day adventures with our dogs. The website has next to no info about how to prepare for visiting the park, so I politely emailed them with some questions since we live over an hr away and I wanted to make sure it was dog friendly and that we were prepared. The person who responded was very rude (that alone was enough to turn us off from paying such a ridiculous fee to visit). If you’re not a resident of the TOWN they charge you 60 dollars for a pass and the beach is NOT dog friendly which they do not mention on the site. Glad I eventually got the info I needed before wasting a trip, even if the answers to my questions were four emails later and written in bold red text because I asked for the info in writing rather than calling them. It would have been less time for them to just politely respond with answers in the first place. They might benefit from some PR courses and putting more accurate info on the website. Per my experience I can not recommend.

Gorgeous views and small hikes! Beach doesn’t allow dogs but they let me walk mine around the boat launch area.

Great beach on the lake, no very busy during the week due to it being a town beach and out of town pricing is prohibitive. The lake is nice, with life guards and a large floating platform the kids love.

Perfect place to launch your ski/boat. There is a beach area with tables set up if you want to cook/bring your own food. Very peaceful
